Wow, I can't believe we are expecting even more snow. This has been a fantastic winter for the skiiers and snowboarders. There is a great base at Cataloochee already and more great ski weather to come. This is a great time to be in Haywood County. Spring in Western North Carolina |

Daffodils and tulips are popping up everywhere, and we had our last snow (we think) last week. Grass is turning green and starting to grow, and our Spring visitors and part-time residents are returning... answering the 'Call of the Mountains.' One of the nicest things about living here in Haywood County is knowing that we enjoy four distinct seasons, none of which is severe in climate or duration. The nights are always cool, the creeks are always beautiful! |
